Highmark Companies is looking for an IT Software Project Manager for a client with headquarters in Burlington, North Carolina. Initial training would be in Burlington, NC with the actual project location being in RTP, NC.
The PM will provide project management and coordination between vendors, clients, and internal staff and will have overall accountability for the success IT Systems projects for our client.
Requirements:
§ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
§ 5+ years of IT project management experience
§ Agile methodology - SCRUM Master certified
§ Understanding of healthcare and/or insurance terminology (desired)
§ Understanding of PMI process or appropriate experience (desired)
§ Workflow development process experience (desired)
Other requirements:
Oral & written communications - facilitate conference calls/meetings with primary communication by phone or emails; remote installs and troubleshooting; process documentation and improvement; client issue resolution.
Ability to work with clients and vendors with varying technical and communication skills; to foster and promote good customer relations; to facilitate projects, conference calls and meetings.
Innovative with process improvement and development skills background helpful; Ability to work in a fast-paced, open ended team environment; flexibility and adaptability a must; problem solving and results focused; Healthcare background would be helpful.
Client-focused; able to anticipate client needs and offer solutions, able to develop short term problem circumvention if needed; able to troubleshoot problems.
Good organization skills; previous project management experience helpful.
